Here are several tips about how to neat your deck. This is of moderate easy method. And the things that you are going to need are deck cleaner, sand paper, paint, paint brushes.

The first step that you need to start with is to clean your patio. Outside furniture is easily washed with good commercial cleaners, soap & water or TSP - this is a compound based on an alkaline material.

TSP is stronger than larger part of the other components & will take out majority of the marks. It's also good for preparing the covered with paint surface for repainting.

If there are any chips or scratches the problem will be resolved with any medium fine sandpaper.

A good idea is a liquid deglosser application, no matter that TSP will leave the covered with paint surface in repaintable condition. The liquid deglosser or liquid sandpaper could save lots of elbow grease while sanding.

If it takeing place there to be any bare spots, they will be primed and feathered & following that the whole piece will be primed. This could be done both with a spray or a brush. A toothbrush & toothpaste will get rid of any stains or marks & even the waxy marks.

Now it's time for the final finish. For the purpose use a good exterior paint, brush on paint that will be good to give the new patio look like new furniture.

The deck will be easily cleaned with pressure water. In TSP there is phosphate & its usage may be controlled in several areas.

Be sure that the pressure water does not damage the wood. It's good if you use a wide angled nozzle & it will be good if you keep it at least six inches away from the wood.
