Learn to Repair a Wood Siding

If there are any spl
its in the wood siding they can quickly shift to homes for bugs, mold and mildew. You have to grab care of the problem earlier in time. This is a moderately easy task.


The first thing that you need to do is to slide a wooden shim covered by the lower part of the split board and then toward its end. Following that you need to take off any nails.

Next you have to cover the top of the revealed board with waterproof wood glue & then it has to sit until it becomes tacky. The following procedure is to receive the split pieces together.
 Following, you need to drive a rustproof nail above & below the split. Then coat the nail head with a dab of wood putty and sand it easily.

A cool advice is to spray for insects before you repair the board.

The things that you are going to need are putty knife, hammers, wood glues, wood shims, common nails, pry bars, wood putty & sandpapers.
